Tutorial

First apply an eye primer as this will stop your eye shadow from fading, creasing, smudging, etc. I am using Two Faced Shadow Insurance.

Take the darkest grey shadow from the Revlon 'Sultry Smokes' Quad (the bottom one in the quad - if you feel this one is too dark, use the one just above it which is a lighter medium silver) and apply over the lid using an eyeshadow brush.

(Don't worry if you get smudges or fall out, as you can see, I got a smudge but I cleaned it up later!)

Apply the Superdrug MUA Glitter Liner (or any black glitter liner you have) over the upper lashline. Do not pile it on too heavily, just a light line! What we are doing is creating a dark base for glitter to go on top so that the glitter has some depth.

If you don't have a black glitter liner you can use a black liquid liner such as Revlon's Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner. The result will be more or less the same.

Take the Beauty UK Silver loose glitter (or any silver glitter safe for use around the eyes!) and using a wet liner brush (I used a spray bottle with water to wet my brush), dab it over the line you just made with the black glitter eyeliner.
(Dab, don't drag! The glitter won't stick too well if you drag your brush) It's important the brush is wet so that the glitter sticks.

This part is optional, I just thought it made the look a little interesting!
Line over the outer half of the upper lashline with the black glitter liner (or black eyeliner).

Highlight the inner corner of your eyes with a white eyeliner pencil.

To make this part extra soft and smokey I took the pencil liner on a cotton bud and smudged it underneath my lower lash line. I then took the deep grey from the Revlon 'Sultry Smokes' Quad and used a liner brush to smudge it over the eyeliner. The eyeliner underneath will act as a base to keep the shadow vibrant.

Curl your lashes. To do this look down slightly. This will help the curlers grab all your lashes :)

For thicker looking lashes apply mascara to both the top and bottom of your upper lashes.

Apply mascara to the lower lashes (this is optional!)

Fill in your eyebrows and groom them out. (Again, optional!)

Apply concealer where needed. In my case this is under my eyes and I am using Rimmel Matte Concealer. Blend with a sponge, brush or in my case, a finger!

Apply foundation to the back of your hand to warm it up. (Warming your foundation prior to applying it will make applying it much easier)

Apply to the face using a brush or sponge. When using either tool to apply foundation remember not to drag. Dragging the foundation will cause it to come off and the coverage will be weaker. Instead use light strokes with a brush and dabbing motions with a sponge.

Set your foundation with pressed powder. I am using Bourjois Pressed Powder in 'Beige Clair'.

Apply using a large powder brush to the face

Using a blush brush, apply a dolly pink blush to the apples of your cheeks. I am using Superdrug's MUA Blush in 'Shade 1'.

Apply a lip colour of your choice. I felt pink lips suited this look best. So here I have demonstrated the look with both dark pink (Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in 'Lily Extase') and light pink lipstick ('Collection 2000 Lasting Colour Lipstick in 'Bubblegum') For a hint of shine, I added some Models Own Lipgloss in 'Violet Creme' to the Collection 2000 lipstick.

And finally here is the finished look!

I know this isn't make up related but I just HAD to share this with you all.

My guinea pigs are kept in a 'pen' style run which is made up of gates that link together. We noticed they had escaped a few times and wondered why. Well, now we know! Lol!

Love how she pushes back the other side of the gate, haha.
